Our board members are committed to advancing health literacy and fostering innovation in neuroscience and mental health. Become a Scientific Blogger

If you have a passion for writing and a keen interest in healthcare, consider joining our team as a scientific blogger. This role offers numerous opportunities, including:

  • Earning Community Service Hours: Earn approximately 1 hour of community service for each article you write.

  • Enhancing College Applications: Stand out on college applications by showcasing your contributions to health literacy and advocacy.

  • Professional Development: Develop skills in literature review, health advocacy, and scientific communication.

We operate on a rolling admissions basis, so you can apply anytime and start making a difference. Each scientific blogger will have the chance to collaborate with our esteemed board members, contribute to impactful content, and inspire change in their communities.

Join Our Leadership Team:

We are seeking motivated high school and college students to join our leadership team. We offer various leadership positions that allow you to make a significant impact, represent your state or country, and work with a network of like-minded individuals. Here’s how you can get involved:

 

State Representatives:

Role Description: As a State Representative, you will be the primary liaison for Neuroscience Spotlight in your state. You will engage with local schools, organize events, and promote our initiatives.

Positions Available: 1-2 per state.

Responsibilities:

  - Coordinate state-level events and activities.

  - Recruit and manage a team of volunteers.

  - Promote Neuroscience Spotlight's programs and challenges.

  - Represent Neuroscience Spotlight at local events and conferences.

 

State Directors:

Role Description: State Directors oversee the activities of State Representatives and ensure the successful implementation of Neuroscience Spotlight’s initiatives across their state.

Positions Available: 1 per state.

Responsibilities:

  - Supervise State Representatives and their projects.

  - Ensure alignment with Neuroscience Spotlight’s mission and goals.

  - Provide regular updates to the National Director.

  - Facilitate communication between the board of directors and State Representatives.

 

National Directors:

Role Description: National Directors are responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities at the national level. They work closely with State Directors to ensure the consistent and effective execution of Neuroscience Spotlight’s initiatives across the country.

Positions Available: A few per country.

Responsibilities:

  - Manage and support State Directors.

  - Develop national strategies and programs.

  - Represent Neuroscience Spotlight at national and international conferences.

  - Collaborate with the board of directors to align national efforts with the organization’s vision.

 

Global Ambassadors:

Role Description: Global Ambassadors represent Neuroscience Spotlight on an international stage. They work to promote our mission and initiatives across different countries and cultures.

Positions Available: Various, based on the country and region.

Responsibilities:

  - Advocate for Neuroscience Spotlight’s mission globally.

  - Initiate and support international projects and collaborations.

  - Engage with global partners and stakeholders.

  - Promote cross-cultural exchange and understanding in health advocacy.
